DESIGN
The
copper-sheathed tubular heating elements with fused magnesium insulation and
libral gauge of helically coiled resistor wire welded to the terminals, are
custom-built for ues with STRIX controls for jugs and kettles. The elements
are brazed to a matching mounting-plate and the assembly is finally electroplated.
SPHEREHOT, with an experience of more than six decades, has specially
designed these elements to adapt with the design of STRIX controls.
The elements can also be offered in stainless steel sheath, if required.

The elements are 100% tested for :

Insulation Resistance Test

Pressure Test, to ensure quality of brazed joints

Visual Inspection

Dimensional Check, to ensure correct interface with control.
FEATURES
Internally and externally silver plated terminal pin contacts minimize terminal temparature, To accommodate the fitting of water level side gauge, the kettle Elements are designed in spiral form. To prevent moisture ingress and to extend storage life, the elements are sealed at the ends. The elements are plated as per BS 1224.
STRIX R3 / R7 CONTROL
Under abnormal operating conditions, the live pole is disconnected by primary auto resetting mechanism. An independent secondary fail-safe device permanently disconnects the neutral supply.
