OUTER CASING
Corrosion-proof mild steel. Available in a number of colour combinations and finished with powder coating. Few models also available in ABS plastic body and stainless steel.

INNER TANK
For storage water heater it is constructed from pure eletrolytic copper (99% pure). For instant water heater it is deep drawn from a cold rolled, pure electrolytic copper/ stainless steel.
Inner containers are hydraulically tested as per BIS specifications.

HEATING ELEMENT
Mineral filled, tubular, copper sheated and nickel plated conforming to IS 4159-83.

PILOT LAMP
A neon gas-filled indicating lamp shows the accurate functioning of the thermostat/ thermal cut-out/safety cut-out as well as the power supply.

THERMAL INSULATION
To ensure superior energy efficiency all Storage Water Heaters have resin bonded glasswool slab insulation filled between two casings.

TOTAL SAFETY
THERMOSTAT : A stem type snap action thermostat is provided in most of the models. At a preset temperature, the thermostat cuts off the electric supply automatically.

THERMAL CUT-OUT : Additional safety measure. Re starts only on pressing the reset knob.

PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE : It releases any excess pressure above 50 p.s.i. and is fitted on the inlet pipe.

FUSIBLE PLUG : In a rare event of thermostat / cut-out or pressure release valve failure, it springs into action.
